Welcome to the Kotn family, we are so glad you’re here.

In 2015, we embarked on a mission to change how products were made and consumed forever and build a company that aligned with our values. Now we are a team spanning from
Egypt to Canada, made up of dedicated, passionate, creative people who share our beliefs. Considering every part of the process is at the core of what we do here. From seeking out the finest natural fibres, to getting to know our customers and the people at each step of our supply chain personally, we believe that caring about the details and making incremental improvements, sets us on path to becoming a company of the future. You are now one of us, and we need your help to change the way businesses are run and help our customers find the small pleasures in products made right. Thank you for believing in Kotn, we’re excited to see what we can all do together.

We’ve put together this handbook to guide you through your journey at Kotn. It is intended to be more than just an onboarding document or collection of policies- it is a reflection of the culture and values of the company we want to build, and the community we want to be. We aspire for it to guide the decisions we make, the way we serve our customers, and how we’ll carry out our mission and make an impact on the world.

The principles in this handbook are not a contract, but rather a guide. Should there ever be a conflict between these principles, your contract of employment or the law; the laws of jurisdiction where you are employed should be your primary reference, secondly your employment contract, and thirdly this handbook. These policies may change or be updated from time to time.

If you have questions or concerns about the handbook or its policies, please see your direct manager.
