EMPLOYMENT TYPES
At Kotn HQ, there are 2 categories of employment: Salaried Team Members and Contract Team Members.
Salaried Team Member:
Salaried Team Member, Store Manager & Area Manager positions are based on a 40-hour work week and require open availability, unless otherwise approved by your Manager. As a Salaried Team Member, you are exempt from receiving overtime unless otherwise specified by your governing jurisdiction. Salaried Team Members are also eligible for health benefits.
Contract Team Member:
Kotn adheres to a standard agreement for its contract team members. Please speak with the People Operations team about this, if you have any questions.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD
All team members are subject to a three-month probationary period commencing on their start date, during which time, Kotn, as well as yourself, have the opportunity to reflect on the suitability of the role. As an organisation, we do our best to provide new team members with as much support and feedback as possible. This is a time for us to get acquainted: you with Kotn, and Kotn with you.
Passing a probationary check-in does not equal a remuneration change unless previously confirmed.
