Leaving Kotn

RESIGNATION

We hope your relationship with Kotn will be a long and happy one. However, we understand that opportunities or circumstances sometimes arise where you might make the decision to resign from your role. If a team member resigns or retires from their position, they are required to give their notice in writing, and their resignation note must include their intended last full day of work. If a notice period is articulated in the team member’s contract then it is binding and must be respected.

TERMINATION

If Kotn makes the decision to end the employer/employee relationship, all conditions set out in the team member’s contract will be met. In either case, Kotn may make the determination that a team member is not to report to work during their notice period.

EXIT INTERVIEWS

At Kotn we value the feedback provided in our exit interview process as a way to continually improve and understand our workplace employee experience. Details of all exit interviews are confidential unless you permit us to share with appropriate people or we are required to share by law and/or as part of an investigation. Exit interviews will be conducted by the People Operations team.

REHIRING

Should you wish to return to Kotn after leaving, regardless of length of service or time away, at minimum you will be required to participate in at least 1 formal interview with the direct report of the role you are applying to.  Your length of service with Kotn would restart from your rehire date should you leave Kotn for any length of time. You would not be given credit for your previous service of employment with Kotn.
