Conflict Resolution

Purpose:
At Kotn, we value open communication, collaboration, and a positive work environment. We recognize that conflicts may arise in the workplace from time to time, and it is important to address and resolve them promptly and professionally. This Conflict Resolution Policy outlines the procedures and principles for resolving conflicts between employees, supervisors, or any other individuals within the organization.

Scope :
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, and any other individuals working for or representing Kotn in any capacity.

Principles:
- Respect and Professionalism: All individuals involved in a conflict are expected to treat each other with respect and professionalism throughout the resolution process.
- Confidentiality: Confidentiality will be maintained to the extent possible during the resolution process, in order to protect the privacy and interests of all parties involved.
-Fairness and Impartiality: Conflict resolution procedures will be conducted in a fair and impartial manner, ensuring that all parties have an opportunity to be heard and present their perspectives.
- Timeliness: Conflict resolution efforts will be initiated and completed in a timely manner to minimize disruption to work and relationships.

  • Informal Resolution a. Dialogue: In the initial stages of a conflict, individuals are encouraged to engage in open and honest communication with the person(s) involved to address and resolve the issue informally.

  • Formal Resolution;
    -Escalation: If informal resolution attempts are unsuccessful, the conflict should be escalated to the appropriate supervisor, manager, or Human Resources representative.
    -Investigation: Upon receiving a formal complaint or conflict report, Kotn will conduct a fair and thorough investigation to gather relevant facts and evidence related to the conflict.
    - Resolution Process: Based on the investigation findings, Kotn will determine the most appropriate resolution process, which may include counseling, corrective action, training, or other interventions. d. Appeals: All parties involved will have the right to appeal the decision made as a result of the formal resolution process, following the company's established appeals procedure.

  • Policy Compliance; All employees are expected to comply with this Conflict Resolution Policy. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.
